Date: VisionQuest · S01 · E01 · October 13, 2026 · Disney+ · United States.
Vision begins a new search shaped by memory, identity, and the question of what defines a person. The series returns to the character through a story of his own within the Marvel universe.

The focus is the android’s relationship with his own nature. Memories and the artificial intelligences within his programming provide different points of reference, while Ultron represents another influence to understand. The opening question is enough for a spoiler-free introduction: possessing information about an experience is different from feeling that it belongs to you. You do not need to know Vision’s later decisions or the outcome of his relationships before beginning.
Our preparation route begins with WandaVision and continues through Agatha All Along to VisionQuest. These are the three series forming this branch, with WandaVision providing the most direct context for Vision himself. For additional film background, Avengers: Age of Ultron introduces the connection between Vision and Ultron. Treat that as an optional expansion rather than a requirement to complete every Marvel film before you can start this particular story.
The title recalls a Vision storyline from the comics, but sharing a name does not make its events a prediction of the screen version. Keep the versions of the character separate when choosing complementary reading. It is also useful to distinguish a previous appearance that supplies background from a story necessary to understand a particular relationship. Follow this series in its own episode order without attempting an exhaustive chronology of the entire Marvel universe.
Rather than chasing every reference, consider how Vision interprets what he knows and what he expects from other people. That keeps the human question in focus without requiring you to recognize the name of every artificial intelligence. Avoid searching for family connections or identity explanations for newly introduced characters before watching them. Such summaries often answer the very questions the story uses to move forward. Orientation should help you begin, not pre-empt the discoveries.
