VisionQuest: what to watch first and how to follow Vision’s story

A focused route through Vision’s background, the role of WandaVision and Agatha All Along, and why the US and UK premiere dates differ.

One launch with two local calendar dates

VisionQuest launched on Disney+ with two episodes on October 13, 2026 in the United States; its UK date is October 14. Different calendar days can describe the same launch across territories rather than a delay. Select the broadcast country before comparing dates. We are not assigning an unverified local hour or treating the opening pair as an entire-season release. The series centres on Vision’s search for identity, giving this guide a narrower purpose than a checklist of every Marvel screen appearance.

Already know Vision? Prioritise WandaVision

Our focused route is to complete WandaVision before starting VisionQuest. That choice follows the character’s television continuity rather than adding the entire MCU as homework. If you have finished WandaVision, there is no automatic requirement to restart it: recall what Vision understands about himself at your last completed episode. Avoid searching for explanations of different versions of the character while you still have earlier chapters outstanding. The question itself touches developments that the previous series introduces in a deliberate viewing sequence.

Where Agatha All Along fits

WandaVision, Agatha All Along and VisionQuest make up a trilogy of series. Our broader route keeps that presentation order, while distinguishing a shared group of stories from an identical protagonist in every instalment. Include Agatha between the other two when you want the full television strand. If your immediate goal is recovering Vision’s path, regard that as a broader itinerary rather than a substitute for WandaVision. This is Nextlude’s viewing recommendation, not a promise that later stories will contain no connections to the other branch.

New to Marvel? Decide how much background you want

For character background, a selected film route runs Avengers: Age of Ultron → Captain America: Civil War → Avengers: Infinity War before WandaVision. Keep their release order. This is not a complete MCU chronology, and it does not explain every supporting character’s wider history. Add the rest of the films if that fuller journey is what you want. Starting with television instead means accepting that WandaVision follows earlier experiences. The useful choice is whether to discover those experiences first or tolerate unanswered background questions while beginning the television story.

A way to follow identity without reading ahead

Separate three questions while considering the premise: what a character remembers, what their body can do and what choices they make now. Those are different questions, even when a story places them together. This gives you something to discuss beyond predicting guest appearances. Keep a note of your own uncertainties rather than importing solutions from theories about unaired or unwatched episodes. You can then talk about whether a decision seems consistent with a character without explaining to another viewer how the larger conflict is resolved.

Track each show independently

VisionQuest begins its own season; its opening episode is not the next entry in a continuous WandaVision episode count. Save progress separately for each show. In the planner, enter what remains of the route you actually chose and use checked running times, or clearly labelled estimates when exact lengths are unavailable. The two-episode launch does not establish every later release date. Follow the relevant country’s title schedule for new instalments and update progress after each session rather than marking the whole trilogy complete at once.
