Your week ahead, without spoilers
From 12 October to 18 October, here is our selection of premieres to help you choose what to watch. We focus on new films, first seasons and returning shows, rather than treating catalogue additions as premieres or listing every weekly episode. Each date applies to the countries named in that entry.
Movies
Street Fighter
16 October · Cines / Cinemas · United States. Check the local catalogue and release time before making plans; a date in one country does not confirm availability elsewhere.
A new screen adaptation of the fighting franchise offers an entry from the cinema. We do not promise unconfirmed scenes, characters or connections.
Completing every game or earlier adaptation is not our recommended preparation. Compare versions afterwards without assuming they share every detail of continuity.
It is a theatrical release choice. The territorial reference is the United States; your local screenings and an eventual streaming arrival need separate confirmation.
Therapy Done Right
16 October · Netflix · Spain, Argentina, United States. Check the local catalogue and release time before making plans; a date in one country does not confirm availability elsewhere.
A therapist and a blocked writer introduce a story of conversations and boundaries. The film is a viewing option, not a mental-health manual.
Begin directly without an earlier film. Noticing who directs each exchange helps follow the conflict without investigating the ending.
We selected it for a character-and-dialogue session. A global release is announced; check access and preferred audio in your account.
Series
VisionQuest · Season 1
14 October · Disney+ · United Kingdom. Check the local catalogue and release time before making plans; a date in one country does not confirm availability elsewhere.
Vision begins a search for identity. This guide preserves that question without listing later encounters or explanations, leaving room for discovery.
Our preparation route is WandaVision → Agatha All Along → VisionQuest. It focuses on these shows rather than assigning the entire Marvel universe as homework.
It is a choice for a new show within a familiar continuity. This date is verified for the United Kingdom; check your country before organising a session.
The Diplomat · Season 4
15 October · Netflix · United States. Check the local catalogue and release time before making plans; a date in one country does not confirm availability elsewhere.
Public work and personal relationships intersect again. Separating institutional conversations from personal negotiations provides a useful thread to follow.
This is a continuation. Begin with season 1 if the story is new to you, or recover your last completed episode when returning after a break.
It is a choice for viewers interested in political and relationship fiction. This Netflix US date does not establish an exact release time in other regions.
